Lawrence Hasselbaink

Lawrence Hasselbaink is an experienced M&A advisor and dealmaker. With over 10 years of experience across the full deal lifecycle, Lawrence brings deep expertise in the origination, structuring, and execution of complex transactions.

Throughout his career, Lawrence has developed a reputation for guiding challenging M&A deals to successful outcomes. His ability to balance strategic oversight with attention to detail, combined with a strong focus on stakeholder alignment, has made him a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, management teams, investors, and boards. His people-centric approach — taking the time to understand what drives individuals and teams — has been a key differentiator in navigating complex deal environments.

Lawrence’s long-standing ambition to take on a more active, hands-on role within companies, made him move to Globitas. Helping to shape strategic direction and drive long-term value creation as an investor.

Prior to joining Globitas, Lawrence served as Vice President M&A at ING Corporate Finance, where he was responsible for leading transaction execution, advising clients on buy- and sell-side processes, and scouting for new opportunities. Before ING, he spent ca. six years at PwC Corporate Finance, and held various roles across the broader deals landscape, including due diligence, valuations, and data analytics.

Lawrence holds an MSc in International Management from Tilburg University, and completed part of his Bachelor studies at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business in Montreal.
